Road Vibes Driving School – Terms and Conditions
 

1. General Information

  • All bookings, payments and communications are managed directly by Road Vibes Driving School (RVDS).

  • Our instructors work under the direction of RVDS to deliver professional, safe, and supportive driving lessons.

  • By booking a lesson, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
     

2. Lesson Bookings and Payments

  • Lessons can be booked through our website, office staff, or authorised instructors.

  • Payment may be made before or at the start of your lesson, if agreed by the instructor or office team.

  • All invoices are due within 7 days of issue. Overdue accounts may attract a $10 monthly fee.

  • For online bookings made through our payment system (e.g. Stripe or Wix), you authorise RVDS to process payment for your lesson.
     

3. Lesson Cancellations and Refunds

  • You may cancel or reschedule a lesson at least 24 hours before the scheduled time without charge.

  • Cancellations made within 24–6 hours will incur a 50% charge of the lesson price.

  • Cancellations within 6 hours or no-shows will be charged the full lesson fee.

  • In case of a medical emergency or genuine unavoidable circumstance, please contact us as soon as possible. Proof may be required for a fee waiver.

  • If a lesson is cancelled or delayed by RVDS or your instructor due to traffic, weather, illness, or vehicle issues, we’ll reschedule at no extra cost.
     

4. Lesson Packages and Gift Vouchers

  • Package lessons are discounted bundles of pre-paid sessions.

  • If you request a refund for unused lessons, completed lessons will revert to the single-lesson rate before calculating the refund.

  • Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from purchase, non-refundable, not transferable, and subject to the same cancellation terms as standard lessons.
     

5. During Your Lesson

  • You must hold a current NSW Learner Licence (or equivalent overseas licence) and bring it to every lesson.

  • Please wear flat, enclosed shoes suitable for driving.

  • Mobile phones must be turned off during lessons.

  • Arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled time. If you are late, the instructor may reduce your lesson time or charge in full.

  • Lessons begin and end at the agreed pickup/drop-off location.

  • Instructors may end a lesson early if they consider your driving unsafe, if you fail to follow instructions, or if you breach licence conditions.
     

6. Using Your Own Vehicle

  • Your vehicle must be registered, insured, and roadworthy.

  • The instructor will perform a basic visual check (tyres, lights, seatbelts, etc.) before the lesson, but this does not replace a professional mechanical inspection.

  • You are responsible for maintaining valid insurance and fuel levels for your vehicle.
     

7. Fitness to Drive

  • Instructors may assess your ability to drive safely at any time.

  • If you are assessed as unfit or unsafe, the instructor may terminate the lesson immediately for safety reasons.

  • Instructors will not enter into discussion about such assessments during the lesson. If you wish to provide feedback or raise a concern, please contact the Road Vibes office directly.
     

8. Liability and Safety

  • While every effort is made to ensure safety, driving lessons involve real-road conditions and some risk.

  • Road Vibes Driving School and its instructors are not responsible for injury, loss, or damage arising from unsafe driving, failure to follow instructions, or vehicle faults beyond our control.

  • You agree to follow all instructions during lessons and take full responsibility for your conduct as a learner driver.

  • If you use your own vehicle, you confirm it is covered by compulsory third-party and comprehensive insurance.
     

9. Privacy

  • Road Vibes Driving School complies with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

  • Your personal information is collected only for lesson bookings, communication, training records, and internal administration.

  • We do not share your personal data without your consent.
